One of the most interesting Main Quests in Starfield is Unearthed. The mission is entangled so much with other Quests to the point where its last step is to complete Final Glimpses, which is another Main Quest.

While completing Unearthed in Starfield, players will explore Earth and find out about the catastrophe and what triggered it. Additionally, a crucial decision must be made at the end of the Main Quest, which will affect players later on in the game.

Upon completing In Their Footsteps in Starfield, it's highly recommended to return to The Lodge and start Final Glimpses since the Quest is the last step in Unearthed. This way, players can minimize how much they go back and forth between Planets.

Unearthed Walkthrough

The first step in Unearthed is to explore Luna, which is the Earth’s Moon in the Sol System. Approach the Research Station and use the Moon Base Key given by the Emissary to head inside. Interact with the computer and read the Project Prism Launch file. Now, head to the roof and listen to the recording, which leads the players to NASA on Planet Earth.
